On October 17, 2024, InfraSet Public Company Limited organized the first annual ESG INSET volunteer project for environmental conservation at the Royal Thai Army Nature Education Center (Bang Pu). 31 employees participated in recreational activities focusing on environmental learning and conservation.
The event featured presentations by distinguished speakers from the Foundation for Sustainable Development Education (Feed), who provided insights into the importance of mangrove forests, the plants and animals that inhabit them, and the reasons why mangrove forests face the significant problem of marine debris.
After receiving valuable information, employees visited the mangrove forest nature education center to learn about the mangrove ecosystem firsthand. Speakers provided guidance and explained the biodiversity of the plants and animals living in the mangrove forest. They also had the opportunity to view the skeleton of a Bryde's whale, which died from ingesting marine debris, clearly reflecting the impact of waste on marine animals.
A highlight of the activity was the hands-on experience of all employees, who collectively collected 259 kilograms of marine debris in the mangrove forest. This demonstrates the dedication and commitment of all employees to environmental protection.
This activity demonstrates InfraSet Public Company Limited's commitment to environmental protection and instills in all employees an awareness of the importance of environmental conservation and contributing to the creation of a sustainable society.
